Article 2 The term "tour guides" as mentioned in these Regulations refers to persons who have obtained the tour guide in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations and appointed by the travel agency to provide guidance, explanation and related travel services for tourists.


Article 3 The State shall implement a unified national guide examination system for tour guides.

A senior secondary school, secondary professional school or above, good health, with the basic knowledge and language skills to adapt to the needs of the People's Republic of China

Article 4 In the territory of the People 's Republic of China in the tour guide activities, must obtain a guide card.

Article 5 In any of the following circumstances, no tour guide certificate shall be issued:

Article 7 Tour guides should constantly improve their professional quality and professional skills.

Article 8 Tour guides should carry a tour guide when conducting tour guides.

The duration of the tour guide is 3 years. If the holder of the tour guide card needs to continue to engage in the tour guide after the expiration of the term of validity, it shall apply to the tourism administrative department of the people's government of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government for renewal of the tour guide certificate within 3 months before the expiration of the expiration date.

The maximum duration of the temporary tour permit shall not exceed 3 months and shall not be extended.
